VISITORS FROM INTERNATIONAL TOURIST GROUPS – MANGUALDE AND VALE DA ESTRELA SELECTED TO SHOW THE REAL SERRA DA ESTRELA CHEESE.

After a long period of constraint due to the Covid19 confinement, the tourist visits to Serra da Estrela region and namely to Vale da Estrela Dairy were resumed, showing an increasing demand from the travel agencies and international groups.

These visits show the production process and the history of Vale da Estrela Dairy, and invariably end with a tasting of Vale da Estrela products, accompanied with Mangualde wines.

The search for authentic products captivates international tourists, interested in experimenting the cultural patrimony of the region, and learning about the products of Vale da Estrela and others from Mangualde and Serra da Estrela. Increasing the visibility and the sustainability of the region, Vale da Estrela contributes for a better future.
