VALE DA ESTRELA “TO VALUE A PRODUCT OF EXCELLENCE”
Speaking to TSF Radio, Jorge Coelho said that the selection and commitment to the qualification of the people who work at the Serra da Estrela cheese dairy are determining factors for the credibility of the Vale da Estrela cheese dairy project.
The study and implementation of the cheese dairy was careful, developed by specialists and, with the success that the project is expected to have, it is also proof that it is possible to develop initiatives in the region that promote its development.
TSF also mentions that, in addition to the production of cheese, “Jorge Coelho also created a kind of museum of this activity”, in his house, in Contenças, where he keeps many of the materials used by his grandfather when he started the family activity related to cheese Serra da Estrela.
