VALE DA ESTRELA PDO CHEESE AMONG THE BEST IN THE COUNTRY

Vale da Estrela Dairy presented its PDO Cheese, the traditional PDO Serra da Estrela, in the 12th Edition of the National Contest of Traditional Portuguese Mature Cheeses, having been awarded the Silver Medal, thus placing Vale da Estrela amongst the best national cheeses.

As this was the first time Vale da Estrela presented a cheese in this particular context sector, the medal is a recognition of a unique product and it represents the whole demarcated region.

Our aim is to keep on preserving an ancestral product such as the true Serra da Estrela PDO Cheese.
