Cheeses from Vale da Estrela were part of a batch of Portuguese products that were at the Salamanca Fair that took place between the 6th and 10th of September.

The Portuguese representation was present at the Central Pavilion and on Portugal’s Day, a tasting of quality regional products from the North and Central regions of Portugal was held.

The Vale de Estrela cheese was highly appreciated by visitors, surprising for its quality compared to Spanish sheep’s milk cheeses.

This initiative was attended by officials from the governments of Portugal and Spain.
