Vale da Estrela Dairy was present at the Dão Capital exhibition that took place at Mercado da Ribeira, in Lisbon, on the 22nd and 23rd of November.

On both days, many visitors discovered some products from the Dão region, in particular wine, sausages and products from the Vale da Estrela PDO Dairy.

One of the biggest requests was the tasting of Serra da Estrela Mature PDO cheese, which was awarded the silver medal in the “Mondial du Fromage”, one of the three most prestigious competitions in Europe.

The buttery cheese Vale da Estrela PDO and the jams, in particular the blueberry, were also very well received.

Dão Capital was an initiative of the Dão Regional Wine Commission (CVR Dão) which is holding this event for the sixth time in Lisbon and this last edition was the one with the highest number of visitors.
