In an initiative to promote PDO cheese in Penalva do Castelo, Visão magazine spoke to Jorge Coelho about Vale da Estrela and its “return to origins”.

The news also highlights that the Vale da Estrela Dairy project was being prepared for a year and a half and has the decisive contribution of the 22 milk producers in the region through the Cooperativa Agro-Pecuária dos Agricultores de Mangualde (COAPE).

The Visão also reveals that agreements were signed with the SONAE, Jerónimo Martins and El Corte Inglês groups for the marketing of Vale da Estrela PDO cheeses.
