Vale da Estrela Dairy was once again present at the Feira dos Santos that took place in Mangualde on the 2nd and 3rd of November and which received almost 50,000 visitors in two days of the event.

Continuing a hugely successful initiative in 2018, Vale da Estrela Dairy once again favored visitors with 4 workshops entitled “The Serra da Estrela PDO Cheese Cycle”, promoting in loco the production of the real Serra da Estrela cheese, from obtaining pure milk from Serra da Estrela sheep, as well as from the artisanal production of the respective Serra da Estrela PDO Cheese.

The central objective of this action was to dignify the shepherds and cheesemakers of our region, seeking to transmit to all visitors the traditional techniques of how cheese is produced, a unique and millenary product that deserves to be one of the preferences of all Portuguese people.

During the event, the premises of Vale da Estrela Dairy received hundreds of people and many of them expressed their appreciation for the quality of the products on display.
