At the event Vale da Estrela Dairy shared with the Municipality of Mangualde the Super Gold Award recently awarded at the World Cheese Awards

 

Vale da Estrela Dairy attended, for the second consecutive year, the Lisbon Tourism Exchange (BTL) and participated in the panel dedicated to the municipality of Mangualde.

With the objective of publicizing the municipality, its emblematic products and the experiences resulting from the cultural heritage of Mangualde, Vale da Estrela Dairy showed its project and the Mission to which it is dedicated, as well as its products, in a session that included a tasting for those who visited the space.

During the event, Vale da Estrela offered to the Municipality of Mangualde, in the person of its President, Marco Almeida, one of the copies of the prize received from World Cheese Awards, thus recognizing the importance of Serra da Estrela PDO Cheese, one of the municipality most emblematic products, that resulted from the installation of Vale da Estrela Dairy in the region.

 

On the occasion, Pedro Arrais, on behalf of Vale da Estrela, recalled the Mission of preserving a unique product in the World and thus actively contributing to the enhancement of inland territories, showing that the international recognition that has been attributed will always be, for the entire team that is part of the project, a way of honouring the founder, Jorge Coelho, that decided to invest in his home county of which he was always proud of; this investment at is today an example of entrepreneurship in the interior of the country for its commitment to Quality of Excellence,  nationally and internationally recognized.
