VALE DA ESTRELA COTTAGE CHEESE IS SUPER GOLD, THE HIGHEST DISTINCTION IN THE WORLD CHEESE AWARDS

Vale da Estrela Dairy obtained, with its Serra da Estrela PDO Cottage Cheese, the classification of “Super Gold” in the 2022 edition of the Word Cheese Awards that took place this year in Wales with 4,000 cheeses from 40 countries, thus continuing the gold medals received from its cottage cheese, in 2021 and 2022, in a national competition.

The first time that it competed in one of the most recognized competitions worldwide, which has more than 30 years and a jury with a panel of experts from 38 countries, and with the cheeses evaluated in a blind test, that is, without prior identification of the Brand, Vale da Estrela Dairy obtained the highest distinction, having been considered the best Portuguese Cheese in the competition.
