This Thursday, SIC published a report on Vale da Estrela Dairy, where it addresses the development of the project from a business point of view and the “productive process inspired by traditional knowledge”.

The SIC report shows images of the Vale da Estrela Dairy and the cheesemakers in the manual process of cheese production.

Some testimonies are also transmitted, from the experience of the cheesemakers and their know-how.

Working conditions and the focus on training are other elements focused on in the report.

Jorge Coelho states that “this is the project of my life” and “I am emotionally committed to the job of my Contenças’ grandfather”.

On the other hand, the SIC report shows some of the steps that are being taken in order to start Vale da Estrela PDO cheese exports.
