THE CHAIRMAN OF AICEP VISITS VALE DA ESTRELA

Vale da Estrela Dairy was recently visited by Luís Castro Henriques, Chairman of AICEP, the Portuguese Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade, together with the Executive Director Madalena Oliveira e Silva and the Head of the Chairman’s Office, José Simões Ferreira.

On the occasion, it was possible to present the Dairy, the company’s history and the purpose to which it is dedicated, the boosting of the PDO Cheese sector in a project that was, at the time of its foundation, an example of social innovation, and in this way, the improvement of the interior territories.

On this occasion, advice was given on topics such as the valuation of the product and the possibilities of promoting the export of Serra da Estrela PDO Cheese, a product so appreciated internationally.

Vale da Estrela Dairy thanked the interest of AICEP and the encouraging words of its Chairman towards the project, marked in the Book of Honour, a recognition given to the project, that makes us very proud.
