Vale da Estrela PDO cheese and cottage cheese were very well received at the tasting that took place this weekend in four Continente stores.

The sessions took place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Continentes of Colombo, in Lisbon, Cascais, Oeiras and Matosinhos and it was with great praise that most people commented on the flavor of the Vale da Estrela PDO cheese.

As in the previous week’s tasting, the cottage cheese also had many positive notes and was one of the most sought after products by the customers.

In both cases, one of the very positive references was the natural production process, using traditional ingredients: milk, salt and thistle flower.

The Vale da Estrela PDO cheese is also present at the Cheese, Sausages and Wines Fair that Continente is hosting until de 27th of this month, with the best selection of Portuguese charcuterie.
