RENEWAL OF PDO CERTIFICATE

The True Serra da Estrela PDO Cheese meets a highly demanding PDO certification, which assures the quality and authenticity of a traditional product, abiding to strict requirements, in accordance with a yearly panel of experts that evaluate the flavor, texture and aroma of the cheese, a rating of 15 being mandatory to receive the PDO “seal”.

VALE da ESTRELA received, once again, this year, this important certification, which we proudly repeatedly received since the first year of production, thus fulfilling the Mission of our founder of preserving the authenticity and quality of this true delicacy.

After seventy years we keep on promoting the cheese “from the best provenience of Serra da Estrela” embodied in VALE DA ESTRELA brand.
