CURD CHEESE IS BACK!
Available only during the lambing season, from October to the beginning of June of each year, Ewe PDO Curd Cheese is produced with the whey obtained exclusively from the milk of Bordaleira or Serra Estrela ewe, breed and fed in the pastures of the demarcated region of Estrela Mountain.
Since all conditions to obtain this excellent product are met, Vale da Estrela Dairy restarted the production of PDO Curd Cheese, to which a gold medal was granted this year, being considered the best Curd Cheese of Estrela Mountain region.
