COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT WITH 15.63 TONS OF CO2 AVOIDED IN 2020 AND 2021

Vale da Estrela Dairy received from Sociedade Ponto Verde the Official Declaration of the Carbon Footprint avoided by joining the Integrated Packaging Waste Management System, a document in which it is evident that the emission to the atmosphere in 2020 and 2021 of a total of 15.63 tCO2e, which corresponds to less 124,750 km traveled by car.

Adherence and commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) recommended by the United Nations are a priority in the management of Vale da Estrela Dairy, seeking to contribute through its activity to the enhancement of the region in which it operates and of its communities, as well as  applying good practices related to what is recommended for ESG regarding the promotion of initiatives related to the improvement of the environment, social action and policies that promote an inclusive organization that respects the rights of each stakeholder that interacts with us on a day-to-day basis.
