CHEESE PUFF FROM MADRE DE ÁGUA
Cheese Puff from Madre de Água
Recipe from Restaurant Madre de Água in Vinhó, Gouveia.
Ingredients:
- Puff pastry
- Serra da Estrela Cheese
- Honey
- Salad
- Balsamic Vinegar
- Dried Nuts
- Egg
Preparation:
- Cut a piece of Serra cheese (9 to 10 cm);
- Wrap the piece of cheese with the puff pastry, gluing the edges of the pastry;
- Bake at 180º until cooked;
- Decorate the dish to taste with balsamic vinegar reduction and spread a little honey on top of the puff pastry;
- Spread nuts on top of the puff pastry;
- Serve with mixed salad.
