In Culto magazine, from the November 11 edition of Público, it was revealed that “you can tell if a cheese is of quality through touch and sound” (Jorge Coelho) but Anabela Fraga, the production manager at Vale da Estrela, wanted to keep the secret of the recipe that makes the quality of a cheese.

Culto also addresses the various stages of production of Serra da Estrela cheese, the protagonists of this whole process and describes the building and the environment that is lived in the Vale da Estrela cheese factory.
