Vale da Estrela PDO was selected to be part of the menu of the dinner commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Portuguese Academy of Gastronomy which took place on the 24th of November at the Grémio Literário in Lisbon.

Several national and foreign guests were present, including the presidents of the International Academy of Gastronomy Jacques Mallard and the Royal Academy of Gastronomy, Rafael Anson.

The 2016 APG Awards were also presented at this dinner.

The Portuguese Academy of Gastronomy  was founded in 1991 and aims to contribute, through its members and its cultural initiatives, to the set of knowledge and experiences that promote, allow and facilitate eating in a balanced, tasty and healthy way.
